Unique opportunity to use the scarce semen of Rubert R, who has been castrated in order to advance his show jumping career. Ridden by Ben Schröder, Rubert R won the Grand Prix of Gelderland and contributed to the Dutch success in the Samsung Super League final. Rubert R was second in the Grand Prix of Salzburg under the saddle of Peter Charles.

Rubert R is the successful product of a purposeful breeding programme from the two stallions Joost and Abgar XX. These two stallions feature in both Rubert R's father's and mother's bloodline. Sire of this appealing young stallion is the very successful breeding stallion Mermus R, inheriting performance genes from among others: Burggraaf, Ramiro, Joost, Abgar XX and Rigoletto.
Mermus R's mother is the well-known performance mare DW Termie (also mother of Odermus R).
Rubert R's mother is Cubertha, a nationally successful show jumper in 1.40 m. under the name of Cuba. She performed under several horsemen, and went into breeding at a more mature age. In the meantime, Rubert R has been approved with much conviction at Zangersheide. He demonstrated ample natural talent under the saddle as well: Rubert R is very careful, jumps quickly off the floor, shows a lot of scope and is good to ride. Furthermore, this talented appealing horse can boast on a substantial quality of blood. Rubert R's pedigree has yielded many fine jumping horses such as V.I.P., Balaboeska R, Cuba, Ferrari, Winston, Zebulon, Laurin Rubertha, Evert R, Adventure and the dressage horse Grand Seigneur.
Rubert R will now be produced further in the sport. Rubert R qualified for the World Championships in Lanaken in 2003 and was 8th in the five year-old category and in 2005 he was 7th in the class for seven-year-old showjumpers. He is making a lot of impression on the breeders. This highly appealing, long-lined stallion jumps fantastically. At only six years of age he jumped in the qualifiers for the Grand Prix at the international show in Wierden (1.40m/1.45m.) and accomplished this with ease. And at this international show in 2005 he was 2nd in the Grand Prix. Also in Leeuwarden and in Maastricht Rubert R won some big classes.
The offspring of Rubert R are royally constructed with a good rectangular model displaying a great deal of presence. The foals that have been bred at Stal Roelofs have also been tested and leave a great impression behind in the loose jumping. The older once appear to be very talented with a super, co-operative character and a young Rubert R x Pit I also stood out at the VSN Championships by being 6th in the final and also scoring the highest marks for conformation out of all the horses that were bred for jumping.
