Bred out of a fantastic Holstein dam line, Rash R adds value to any show jumper pedigree. Rash R produces fine show jumpers with a nice temperament and a great deal of breeding value.
Cash x Zarah ‘prest’ by Rebel I Z x Mephisto
Rash R was sold to Canada as an international show jumper. He is a son of the influential Holsteiner stallion Cash, who brilliantly distinguished himself in international show jumping. Cash’s dam is the renowned mare Landgräfin, a full sister to the Holsteiner stallion Landgraf I (line 275). Both dam Landgräfin and sire Cash competed very successfully at the international level under Hugo Simon.
Rash R’s dam is the fine Holsteiner broodmare Zarah. She is also the dam of the international show jumper and breeding stallion Sandstone Laurin as well as the dam of the NAWPN approved stallion O Zarah (s. Cor d’Alme Z). Zahros R, recently approved by the KWPN, is also a Zarah son.
Rash R is out of the famous Holsteiner line 242. Other stallions out of this excellent line include Joost, Ahorn, Cosimo, Briscar, Merano, Alcatraz, and Castellini.
Rash R finished first in the stallion competition for five-year-olds in ’s-Hertogenbosch; eighth at the Dutch Championships for five-year-olds in Ermelo; Reserve Champion in the five-year-old jumper division in Lanaken; first in the jumper stallion final in Zwolle; eighth in the Zangersheide World Championships in the six-year-old division; first in the De Wolden Grand Prix, second in the Nörten-Hardenberg Grand Prix, and third in the Barcelona Grand Prix.
